Dr. John Chileshe
Dr. John Chileshe obtained his B.A. from the University of Zambia and his M.A. and Ph.D. in African Studies from the University of Sussex in England. His M.A. and Ph.D. degrees were inter-disciplinary, covering history, political economy, and education. He has previously been a Lecturer, Researcher, Consultant and Administrator at the University of Zambia (UNZA). During his last eleven years at the UNZA, up to 2002, he was Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
While at UNZA, Dr. Chileshe also worked with several civil society organisations as consultant and facilitator. Dr. Chileshe retired from UNZA in 2004 and currently works as a Consultant.
